  • TV Show

I appear on season 2 of Undercover Underage — a docuseries on Max, Discovery+, YouTube TV, and elsewhere.

Poetry

My work explores the fears of being a child, advocates for the voices of women in Biblical stories, records stories of Cuban heritage, and searches for moments of light.

My poems have been recognized by the Andrés Montoya Prize, the Poetry International Prize, the Joy Harjo Prize, and more. My work has appeared in Poetry, Poetry International, The Mississippi Review, and other places.

Santa Tarantula, my first book, is forthcoming in spring 2024 from The University of Notre Dame Press.

Work

I’m currently the Director of Communications at SOSA (Safe from Online Sex Abuse), a nonprofit dedicated to fighting online child sex abuse.

We educate families about how to prevent abuse, collaborate with law enforcement to identify active perpetrators, provide much-needed support to survivors, and more.

In my role as Director of Communications, I run SOSA’s website and social media accounts. I also work decoy sprints in collaboration with our founder, Roo Powell, and our ICAC (internet crimes against children) law enforcement partners — which includes set-dressing fake teen rooms, creating fake accounts, posing as a decoy, and more.

Previously, I’ve worked at companies like Bustle and The Atlantic.

Undercover Underage

I appear on season 2 of Undercover Underage, a docuseries following my team at SOSA as we create fake teen decoy accounts online, communicate with adults who contact them, work to identify them, and collaborate with law enforcement to have them arrested.

The show has an international audience, and has been covered in a number of media outlets — such as Good Morning America, Forbes, and Elle.
